| The façade, red bricks, lead decorated glass windows and red shutters make this one of the most beautiful residences of Amsterdam, located at the corner of the Grimburgwal. A carpenter named Claes Adriaenszoon built it in the year 1609. Three canals meet at this location and so the house was named "The house at the three canals". For many years influential families from Amsterdam lived here. |
