Tower of the winds
Located in the area of Plaka you can find this monument, which was build by a Syrian architect Andronikos. The top of the building has eight sides. Every side has a sculpture that represents one of the eight types of wind. In the background you can see the Parthenon as well as one of the many Neoclassical buildings of the Plaka area that are restorated.
