| Sauerkraut with sausage |

| 1/2-kilo potatoes. 1/2-kilo sauerkraut. 1 smoked sausage. 1 spoon juniper berries. 2 ounces bacon. 1 spoon rosemary. Salt. Pepper. |

| Recipe: |
| Peel the potatoes and cut them in parts. Mix the potatoes with the juniper berries in a large cooking pot, filled with water just above the potatoes and bring to boil. Add the sauerkraut and the sausage on top of the potatoes, close the pan with the cover and let it simmer for about thirty minutes. Cut the bacon in small pieces, bake on low fire, add the rosemary and simmer until the bacon is crispy. As soon the potatoes are well done, remove the sausage and the sauerkraut, pour off the boiling water, smash the potatoes and serve. |
